Monthly Archives: December 2010

Today’s photos are some of the shop fronts in China Town. I love reflections, like two images at once. Happy New Year!  May 2011 be a good one for you.

One of the main entrance gates

It's the Fig trees & the shade that makes China Town so lovely

One of a pair of wrathful lions at the main gates

Another street performer with paddy's Markets in the background

The window was full of pretty things

Looking down towards the Entertainment Centre

I took a whole lot of photos of Ecinacea flowers today. I adore these flowers.  Actually, I love flowers & will probably post quite a few of them.

Almost at the end of its life

Close up

A white one on the way out

Still a bud really

An even younger bud

A young flower. The petals are just starting to appear

Macro

Another macro

Another young bloom

This one still has a way to go with unfolding its petals

Eventually each rod splits open to produce pollen before folding back on itself

Like a desert scene from the air

Just trying to see what this theme looks like.

Lots of orange

Soft colour

Vibrant green
